What is a Bonzer Bash?
The Bonzer Bash is our annual carnival and fundraiser that benefits our students and staff! Our theme for this year’s carnival is “International Festival: A Trip Around The World”.
When is the Bonzer Bash?
Get ready to pack your bags and travel around the world on April 14th from 3:00-6:00 pm.
What is there to do at the Bonzer Bash?
The Bonzer Bash is a carnival that’s a fun-filled family event with dinner, basket raffles, silent auctions, bake sale, cake walk, games of chance, inflatables and this year we have added live entertainment!
Do you have to eat dinner to come?
No, but do plan to come and enjoy the activities and an empty stomach would not hurt! We will have approximately four (4) local food vendors to choose from and you will not want to miss out!
What is the basket raffle?
Classes are assigned a theme, ‘Family Game Night,’ for example. Parents graciously donate new items, gift cards, etc., to the child’s class according to the pre-assigned theme. Items are then collected and arranged into magnificent and fabulous baskets. You do not need to be present to win, but it sure is nail-biting fun to stay for the drawing!
How do I purchase tickets for baskets and games?
Order forms will be sent home in Wednesday folders for t-shirts, raffle basket tickets, game tickets and wristbands. All the necessary information will be included. If you buy your tickets in advance, you get an excellent deal on a bundle! Order forms can also be downloaded and printed from the OKE PTA website at www.okepta.org. All of the information will be posted and sent home in March and April of 2012! No need to worry about it right now!
Tell me about the Silent Auction?
Items available for bidding are donated from our community friends and business partners. Some of the items that have been donated in past years are amazing…you will not want to miss out!
Do I need a ticket for the admission to the event?
No, there is no admission charge. You will be able to purchase basket tickets, game tickets and wristbands in advance and at the Bonzer Bash. Bake sale items will be available for purchase with cash.
